Featured Member: Carley Saikowski is an active, young mother of 2 children under the age of 5. She has been a member of LiveWellFit since 2014 and joined LWF due to the variety of group fitness classes offered.
When asked about what Carley loves the most about LiveWellFit, she says, “LiveWellFit is such a welcoming environment and in addition to exercise, I have learned about the importance of nutrition, good body posture, sleep and how different muscle groups work for the good of my body.”
Sometimes joining a gym can bring out fear, but Carley shares that she really did not have fear but simply needed to find an exercise routine that she enjoyed and was beneficial. She found both things at LiveWellFit.
Carley has this advice to anyone new to LiveWellFit. “Stick with it. Forget the excuses and find a way to commit to bettering yourself. Even 2 days a week helps.”
One of the things that drew Carley to LiveWellFit was the variety of classes offered and her favorites are TRX/Pilates, LWF Barre and Lift.
Setting goals is always important and Carley has set a personal goal of working hard to tone her body and to eat less processed foods.
An interesting fact about Carley that many may not know is that she broke her back at age 17 and had to undergo two surgeries to repair and correct crushed vertebrae in her spine. This injury no doubt has not slowed Carley down a bit.
LiveWellFit membership has pushed Carley outside of her comfort zone and she is now able to successfully complete spin classes which she says is something she never would have attempted when she first joined LWF.
Owner Suzi McKee said, 'I love Carley's bubbly smile and beautiful hair every time she comes to the studio. She has been consistent and it pays off for her with her strength and beauty. It HAS to pay off as a busy mama to keep up with 2 under age 5. Carley is a gem. Age is not a barrier at the studio. She is one of our younger gals that keeps up with the strong veteran women over 50.
